Stream to Twitch
How to stream to Twitch
Follow the steps described in this page to stream your event to Facebook with Vodalys.
1 – Log into your Twitch account
– Sign in to your Twitch account at www.twitch.tv/dashboard
2 – Get the Stream Key
– Under Dashboard select the Settings tab
– Under Settings, select Stream Key and a new button labeled Show Key should appear
– Select Show Key. Select I Understand underneath the warning about sharing your stream key, and your Stream Key should be displayed
3 – Add a Twitch distribution channel to your Vodalys event:
Go to Channels menu and click ADD on the Twitch sub menu
Enter the following RTMP parameters:
– Server URL: Enter rtmp://live.twitch.tv/app/
– Stream Key: Enter the Stream Key provided by Twitch
Video and audio settings required by Twitch are automatically configured by the Vodalys application
4 – Go Live:
– When you’re ready to start your live stream, click the « Start Streaming » button on the Vodalys Web app
Twitch requirements
Please note that Vodalys automatically manage the video and audio encoding parameters to fit with the Twitch’s recommandations.
