Stream to LinkedIn

How to stream to LinkedIn
Follow the steps described in this page to stream your event to LinkedIn with Vodalys.
1 – Check for LinkedIn Live Access:
Verify that you have access to LinkedIn Live streaming. If not, you may need to apply and wait for approval. Visit the LinkedIn Live page for more information on the application process.
2 – Create a LinkedIn Live Event:
Go to your LinkedIn profile or organization’s page.
Click on “Create a post” and select “Live video.”
Fill in the details for your live event, including the title, description, and any additional information.
Schedule the event if necessary.
3 – Add a LinkedIn distribution channel to your Vodalys project:
Go to Channels menu and click ADD on the LinkedIn sub menu.
Enter the following RTMP parameters that should be available when you set up your LinkedIn Live event.
– Server URL: Paste the “Server URL” provided by LinkedIn.
– Stream Key: Enter the “Stream Key” provided by LinkedIn.
Video and audio settings required by LinkedIn are automatically configured by the Vodalys application.
4 – Go Live:
When you’re ready to start your live stream, click the “Start Streaming” button on the Vodalys Web app.
5 – End the Stream:
When you’re finished with your live stream, make sure to properly end it in your Vodalys project. LinkedIn Live streams typically have a maximum duration, so keep that in mind.
Note:
Please note that the interface and options on LinkedIn may change over time, so it’s a good idea to refer to LinkedIn’s official documentation.
